Prof. Georgi Kapriev

Dr Georgi Kapriev is Professor in Medieval Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sofia University and the President of the Section on Byzantine Philosophy of Société Internationale pour l’Étude de la Philosophie Médiévale. He is a co-founder of the Institute for Medieval Philosophy and Culture, Sofia. Dr Kapriev is also a co-founder of the European Graduate School for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (2006), and co-founder and co-publisher of the journals Medieval Philosophy and Culture File (1994) and Christianity and Culture (2007).
