Collections & Services

The CAS Library collections and services are mainly specialized in the sphere of the Humanities and Social Sciences with focus on the Balkan Studies area. Collections consist of:

• Books and monographs;
• Periodicals;
• Reference collections;
• Online academic databases;
• Offline databases (“The Balkan Bibliography 1985-2001”)
• Special collections (monographs, articles, periodicals, bibliographical data, Internet resources) created for the purposes of each separate CAS project;
  

The CAS library serves and supports in a traditional and electronic way the CAS Fellows and external academic researchers with:

• Books loans (only for CAS fellows);
• Access to the collection of periodicals;
• Access to online academic databases;
• Written bibliographical references.
  

Books are borrowed only by CAS fellows:

• during the working hours of the Library
• for a period of 7 days
