brief InformationDr Todor Hristov received a doctoral degree in Sociology from the Institute for Sociology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (2006), and yet another doctoral degree in Literary Theory, Sofi a University (2002). His PhD work related to the Legitimation of State Authority during the Bulgarian Peasant Riots in 1900. He held research fellowships at the Centre for Advanced Study Sofi a (2002-2003), and the Research Centre in Social Science at Sofi a University (2006), and has been the Director of the Institute for Critical Social Studies in Sofi a since 2007.
